It’s the southern most point in Japan. 5 stars. Coral outcropping. No beach. Nice viewpoint with good parking. Incredible beautiful island.

A stone monument marks the southernmost point, with a dramatic view of the cliff and the ocean. It was windy but worth the visit. One hour is enough to walk around the place and take some pictures. It’s free to visit and there is a parking lot and a resting shed.

Great view. Strong winds so be careful and never go near to the cliff!

Pretty breath-taking place.Fighting all odds that the ferry is not cancelled to Hateruma and then making it to the Southern tip of Japan.you could not have asked for better scenery.

Beautiful view and a wide open space. The view and the monument are worth the trip but be aware there is not much else there or in the surrounding area.

Come here by bicycle because its worth it! Walk around, see the monument, the cliffs and the rough landscape. View to the south feels like end of the world:)
